The National Anti-profiteering Authority (NAA) was established under Section 171 of the Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Act, 2017. (iv) If the complaint has merit, committees refer the cases for additional examination to the Directorate General of Safeguards.
(v) The Director-General of Safeguards will take around 3 months to finish the examination and send the report to NAA.
