1. Online Mode of Linking AADHAAR with PF Account
To link PF Account with your AADHAR Card you need to follow the following steps:
Step 1: Sign in to the Unified Portal of Employees’ Provident Fund using valid credentials. Afterwards click on the For employees option, subsequently select UAN (Universal Account Number) Member e-Sewa
Step 2: Fill in your UAN and password along with Captcha code.
Step 3: Choose Manage from the top bar menu and afterwards go to KYC option
Step 4: Then you will be redirected to a new page showing Add KYC column wherein you can furnish
- PAN card
- Driving license
- Election card
- Bank details
- Ration Card
Afterwards, click on the Save button
Step 5: After successfully saving it, furnished details can be seen under Pending KYC tab. Once employer approves, the Pending KYC will transfer to Approved KYC tab.
Linking your AADHAAR to your PF account will have two benefits
- Quicker withdrawal
- Faster transfer
But to enjoy these benefits your current employer must approve and verify your KYC.
2. Linking of AADHAAR with PF Account through Offline Mode
Employee Provident Fund Organisation has also facilitated offline linking of AADHAAR with PF and UAN with EPF account. The EPFO has established an AADHAAR based linking application wherein the employee can fill their application form consisting of AADHAAR number & UAN with other related information.
For linking your AADHAAR Card with PF account you just required to attach self-attested copies of PAN, and AADHAAR card along with the form. Then after furnishing the details in the form, submit the form at the EPFO field offices or Common Services Centers. Your AADHAAR number will be linked to your PF account, once the employer verifies and approves it. Then after such approval, you will get a message stating that your AADHAAR has been successfully linked to your PF account
